Flat Weft is a permanent hair extension. It's made with a double-stitched ultra-thin silk base and sealed with PU glue for strength. The base is under 1mm thick and only 5mm wide, making it flat, light, and comfortable to wear. With no return hair and a cut anywhere design, Flat Weft blends invisibly without bulk. Flat Weft is durable, secure, and affordable. It is a great choice for salons that add length, volume, or highlights.

What is the difference between Flat Weft and Hand-tied Weft?
Flat Weft is machine-sewn onto a silk base. It holds more hair, offers good invisibility, and is fully customizable by cutting. Plus, it comes at a more affordable price.
Hand-tied Weft is completely handmade. Its base is thinner and softer, making it ideal for fine or sparse hair. It provides the highest comfort and seamless blend, but it takes longer to produce and costs more.
What is the difference between Flat Weft and Genius Weft?
Genius Weft: Features a polyurethane (PU) base that is under 0.78mm thick and less than 2mm wide. This makes it ultra-thin and nearly invisible.
Flat Weft: Has a silk base that is under 1mm thick and about 5mm wide. It provides a similar natural feel to Genius Weft but at a lower price.
What is the difference between Flat Weft and Machine Weft?
Both are machine-sewn. However, Machine Weft retains return hair and needs more bundles to secure the base. This makes it thicker and heavier, adding bulk. But it can create more tension on the scalp. Flat Weft has no return hair, lies flatter, and feels lighter and more comfortable.
Are Flat Weft extensions suitable for fine hair?
Flat Wefts are thin and discreet. For very fine or sparse hair, Hand-tied or Genius Wefts may blend better. Flat Wefts work best for medium to thick hair. They provide comfort, natural volume, and a smooth finish.
Can I install Flat Weft extensions at home?
We strongly recommend professional installation, even though it’s technically possible. Flat Weft needs precise stitching and sectioning. If applied by non-professionals, it can pull, tangle, or damage your natural hair. A salon stylist will provide a seamless, secure, and long-lasting result.
Do Flat Weft extensions damage natural hair?
No. With professional installation and regular maintenance, Flat Wefts do not harm natural hair. The soft, flexible silk base lies flat against the scalp, reducing tension. Regular salon care, sulfate-free products, and clean roots keep both your hair and extensions healthy.
Can I curl or straighten Flat Weft extensions?
