Hair Source Verification
We verify that all hair is donated willingly and purchased at a fair price. Suppliers must provide documentation that proves they are sourcing ethically and that the hair is authentic Remy Hair.

Cuticle Alignment Check
We examine each batch under a microscope to ensure the cuticles are all aligned in the same direction, which is the Remy standard.

We inspect for gray hair, white strands, and other visible contaminants to ensure the raw material is clean.

How to Install Handtied Wefts
Our step-by-step guide helps ensure flawless results and long-lasting wear for every client.
Step 1: Prepping the Natural Hair
Start with freshly washed, completely dry hair. No conditioner. No styling products. Clean hair provides a better grip for your beads and wefts.
Step 2: Sectioning the Hair
Create clean horizontal sections from the nape to the top. Leave at least two finger widths from the hairline and the ears. Use clips to secure the sections, allowing you to see what you’re doing and maintain control.
Step 3: Creating the Foundation
Use a tail comb to lift small rows of hair near the scalp. Thread the silicone-lined microbeads onto each row, spacing them about a half-inch apart. Use your pliers to clamp the beads down so they’re snug, but not tight.
Step 4: Measuring and Pinning the Wefts
Measure the weft length from ear to ear based on the sectioned area. Pin the weft in place along the beaded row.
Step 5: Stitching the Wefts
Thread your curved needle with an arm’s length of thread and tie a secure double knot. Start sewing from one end above and between the beads using looping and knotting techniques. Sew three times at both ends for extra hold. Do not sew directly over the beads.
Step 6: Repeat for Additional Rows
Keep layering the wefts up across the head. Each row should lie flat against the scalp.
Step 7: Blending and Styling
Brush the natural hair and the extension hair together. Trim and shape the ends to blend naturally. Use lightweight styling products if needed.
